North Central Bus and Equipment (NCBE) has been in the bus industry for over 60 years. NCBE is a division of St. Cloud Industrial Products, Inc. (SCIPI). We are a 100% employee-owned organization based in Central MN, employing 240 team members across the Midwest and Canada.

Position Description:

As the Warranty and Service Administrator, you are responsible for daily activities associated with North Central Bus & Equipment vendor warranty programs such as streamlining the warranty process and maximizing recovery of warranty reimbursements. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills. If you’re detail oriented and skilled at prioritizing multiple tasks, this is the job for you! This position will be posted until filled, with initial candidate review starting on May 20th.


Essential Functions

  • Files warranty claims with North Central Bus & Truck Vendors, monitors the claim process and ensures proper coding of credit
  • Evaluates, reconciles and files warranty claims
  • Monitor WIP (warranty in process) report on a weekly basis
  • Responsible for negotiating disputed warranty claims with vendors and customers
  • Responsible for communicating warranty process with customers
  • Back up for the Service Coordinator
  • All other duties as assigned

Required Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong organization and time management skills


Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience with busing/transportation operations or sales
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service
